Summary of Quaterly HOA Board meeting May 31, 2018

- Executive session called to order
- Discussion of issues.

Called open session to order
- Approved previouse meeting minutes.
- Discussed power washing limestone wall along Discovery. Tabled decision because bid was not complete.
- Discussed portable basketball goals and how they should be considered a violation if between sidewalk and street or blocking sidewalk or in street.
- Discussed parking issues.
- As per previous discussions, we cannot enforce "no parking" on street because city allows it.
- We cannot do anything about the parking in a yard because it is legal in Cedar Park and the Deed Restrictions do not block it.
- We can hire a company to patrol the neighborhood in evening and morning to catch violators of "parking overnight". Board decided that it would probably cost too much so it was decided not to pursue further.
- Discussed creation of a generic, simple list of deed restriction violations to be placed on a door hanger / email / mailing to remind residents to follow deed restrictions.
Discussed the possiblility of a basketball goal in Quest Village Park. Explained the research done. Several questions were brought up including exact location of goal, and actual cost to HOA. Some concerns brought up included increased traffic and parking limitations. HOA will contact city to find exact location.
