Brushy Creek Road will be closed between Blue Ridge Pkwy and Hwy 183 / Bell Blvd from Oct. 28 until Nov. 1. There will be a detour.
Early voting has started and will run from Oct. 24 until Nov. 4 including voting on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Construction Alert!
The intersection of Parmer and 1431 will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday and Monday nights, July 31 and Aug. 1, weather permitting, in preparation for opening the new Continuous Flow Intersection.

To ensure proper access for emergency services vehicles, there will be restricted street parking from 12 noon to 12 midnight on Monday, July 4, 2016 along the following streets:
* Sun Chase Boulevard from Eagle Wing Drive to past the Cedar Park Middle School campus * El Salido Boulevard north of Cypress Creek Road * Heather Drive * Iris LaneWe ask that everyone please assist us by not parking in these areas, and please follow the instructions on posted signage.
Additionally, please be aware that the following streets near H-E-B Center at Cedar Park through the Cedar Park Town Center neighborhood will be closed on Monday, July 4 from just before 10 a.m. until the parade ends and crowds clear – likely just before noon:
- New Hope Drive from Enchanted Rock Drive to just west of the 183A Toll Road
- Avenue of the Stars/Discovery Boulevard to the bridge/traffic circle between Main Street and 1431/East Whitestone Boulevard
- Main Street from Discovery/the clock tower to Walnut Creek Drive/just west of the Cedar Park Recreation Center
Don't forget to vote on May 7, 2016. Included in the election is Proposition One (not the Uber/Lyft/City of Austin Prop 1) but one related to park land across 1431 from Quest Village and the authorization to allow the city to "sell, convey, transfer, swap, lease, or use the property for non-park purposes, if desired, in the future." If you're looking for an alternative to Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts for your family, check out the Adventure Guides through the YMCA. Activities are geared toward the whole family rather than Father/Son or Mother/Daughter and cover both camping and other activities. An upcoming Trailhead Adventure day is scheduled for Saturday, August 29th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Come out for an afternoon of fun and food. From the YMCA description:
Trail Head Adventure Day is an introduction to the YMCA Adventure Guide program. Activities will include: Archery, tent relays, fishing practice, s'mores and a hot dog BBQ. This is a great way to introduce families to the Y-Guides program which is a year of family adventure fun. The event is FREE and there is a family gift for those attending.

The next quarterly Quest Village HOA board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 30th at 6:30pm at the Cedar Park Police Department Community Room. The annual meeting will be scheduled during the board meeting.

Three Public Meetings Set for Community Feedback on High School Attendance Zones High School Attendance Zone Information Glenn High School (HS6), located on Collaborative Way in Leander, will open for the 2016-17 school year. The Board of Trustees has asked district administration to hold three public meetings in order to receive feedback from the community on the proposed Scenario N that could impact numerous high school attendance zones throughout the district. All information and attendance zone scenarios presented to the Board are available on the High School Attendance Zoning site.
